Refund Policy

All subscription purchases on groundopen are final and non-refundable.
By completing payment you confirm that you have read and understood this policy, and that you agree to these terms before subscribing.
1. Why We Do Not Offer Refunds
groundopen is a digital exam preparation platform. When you purchase a subscription, access to all included study material, chapter tests, mock tests, and performance analytics is granted immediately upon payment confirmation. Because the full value of the product is delivered at the moment of purchase, we do not offer refunds, cancellations, or credits under any circumstances once a transaction is completed.
This policy is consistent with the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and standard practice for digital subscription services in India, where the product is intangible and access is provided instantly.
2. What Your Subscription Covers
Before purchasing, please review exactly what is included in your chosen plan on our Pricing page. Each plan clearly states:
- Which exam stages are included (Prelims, Mains, or both)
- Subscription validity period (3 months, 6 months, or 12 months)
- Access to chapter-wise tests, full mock tests, and analytics
If you have a question about what a plan includes before purchasing, contact us at support@groundopen.com and we will clarify before you complete payment.
3. No Refunds — Including These Situations
Refunds are not provided even in the following circumstances:
- You purchased the wrong plan by mistake.
- You no longer wish to prepare for the IBPS Clerk exam.
- You did not use the platform after subscribing.
- The IBPS Clerk examination was postponed, cancelled, or rescheduled by IBPS.
- You found similar content elsewhere at a lower price.
- You experienced a technical issue that was resolved within a reasonable time after being reported.
4. Technical Failures on Our End
If a technical failure on our platform prevents you from accessing paid content for an extended, unresolved period, please contact us at support@groundopen.com with details of the issue. We will investigate and, at our sole discretion, may extend your subscription validity to compensate for verified downtime. This is the only remediation we offer and does not constitute a cash refund.
5. Payment Disputes & Chargebacks
All payments are processed securely by Razorpay. If you believe a charge was made to your account in error (for example, a duplicate transaction), contact us immediately at support@groundopen.com with your order ID and payment ID (available in your Billing page). We will work with Razorpay to resolve genuine payment errors promptly.
Initiating an unwarranted chargeback or payment dispute for a completed, correctly delivered subscription will result in permanent suspension of your account.
6. GST on Purchases
All subscription prices are inclusive of 18% GST (SAC code 9983). A GST invoice is automatically generated and available to download from your Billing page within 24 hours of payment. Since no cash refunds are provided, no GST reversal is applicable.
